Corky - Male Australian Cattle Dog Cross - On Trial!
Corky is a 6 year old, 45 lb., microchipped, and neutered Australian Cattle Dog Cross. He is a confident and playful boy.
Corky is house-trained and is pretty good on leash, although he pulls a little bit. He gets along well other dogs and ignores cats. Corky can be exuberant when he plays, and like some other herding breeds, he may play-nip when he gets very excited playing. Corky’s fosters are working on this habit but he would be best off in a home without young children. He is quiet and well behaved in the yard, even enjoying some quiet time on his own. Corky is food motivated and a bit prone to counter surfing; he is otherwise pretty well behaved when home alone. He enjoys playing, his toys, and walks.
Corky is a good dog with a lot of potential that could be unlocked by working with the right adopter. His ideal adopter would have a yard, would not have small children, and is someone who will enjoy his confident and playful nature.
